Write for us
Lasting Horizons welcomes pitches that help readers consider what a choice means over time. Send proposals through the Contact page; please do not submit a finished article unless it has been requested.
What to pitch
Pitch one focused subject connected to durability, adaptation, care, materials or what people choose to carry forward. Strong ideas answer a real reader question, explain why the longer view matters and offer a distinct angle rather than broad advice to buy less or make things last.
What makes a useful proposal
Include a working title, the central question, the points you would cover and why the piece suits Lasting Horizons. Note the sources or expertise the subject would require, any limits or uncertainties, and whether you have a relevant commercial connection. Keep the pitch concise and specific.
Our boundaries
We do not seek pieces that rely on invented evidence, unsupported product claims or professional advice outside the publication's scope. Avoid pitches that require hazardous work, specialist inspection or decisions governed by local rules. A proposal is not a commission; we will respond if it is a fit.
How to send it
Choose the editorial question option in the Contact form and include your pitch in the message. The form is the route for proposals and lets you identify the subject without sending a full draft.
The future belongs in the first question
A choice is not only about how it works today. We look at what it asks of its owner over time, and whether it can keep earning its place.
